DAVE STAMEY RETURNS TO THE IRON DOOR

Saturday night, April 19th, the Iron Door Saloon welcomes back nationally acclaimed Cowboy Entertainer Dave Stamey for a special evening of Songs and Stories. Dave's annual appearance at California's Oldest Saloon" has become a much anticipated tradition in Groveland, and he's now returning for a "Special Dinner Show". A three-course feast of Salad, Bread, New York Steak, Vegetable, Baked Potato and Dessert will be served and Dave will hit the stage at 8pm. Calling 209-962-8904 can make a Table Reservation for Dinner and Show.

Born in Montana, raised on a cattle ranch in California, Dave Stamey's been bucked off and stomped on by horses, stepped on by mules and dragged around branding pens by angry cattle. He's ridden in the rain, the snow, nasty heat, and in feedlot pens where the air was thick and decidedly fragrant.

. He prefers being an entertainer now. Dave's show is a celebration of shared heritage, an appreciation of the West, as both a place and a state of mind.

a "Special Dinner Show".

Show tickets only can be purchased at the same number for $17.
Reservations can be made by calling 209-962-8904.

The Iron Door Saloon is located on hwy. 120 in downtown Groveland,Ca. Just west of Yosemite National Park.

Named the 2007 Academy of Western Artist's Male Vocalist of the Year, and Songwriter of the year, Dave has released two new CD's this year as well. "It's Just a State of Mind", a live recording, and " Old Friends", a collection of vintage western music.

Some may say it's his voice - textured like barn wood, soft, weathered and grainy. Or the way he wears his hat. Those who know his music insist it's just the magic of the songs, usually anchored to a waltz tempo beat. What sets this western singer apart isn't just the melodies and lyrics of his many original songs, but the very way he connects with an audience and simply sets his songs free as crisp and natural as breathing. . Don't miss this regular at the biggest music and poetry festivals in the West Saturday night April 19th!
